MURDER OF SIRDAR.
RELEASE OF SUSPECTS. By Telegraph—Pres* Assn.—Copyright. ’London.- Dec. 14. Re uteris Cairo correspondent say* that 19 out of the 42 -persons who were arrested in connection with the assassination of General Sir Lee Stack hgve been released, the evidence being deemed insufficient. Those released include Makramo'beid and two oth«;r deputies. The Ministry of the Interior intend# further to charge Mwkramobeid with making incendiary speeches. The remainder of those arrested will appear before the court to-morrow.
The authorities express the opinion that the investigation o»f the outrage is proceeding satisfactorily, but the inquiry necessarily be a prolonged one.
