TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
INSPECTION BY PARENTS.
There was a large attendance of parents and the general .publi at an exhibition of work at the New Plymouth Technical College yesterday afternoon and evening. The school was open for inspection and the visitors appeared greatly impressed with all they saw. Ail the workshops were in full swing, while in the science laboratories pupils were conducting interesting experiments. In the electrical room lantern- slides screened, depicting various diagrams used in the explanation of intricate points connected with motor and electrical engineering. As these diagrams were shown they were fully explained by pupils of the engineering classes. The large and well-equipped classrooms and the cookery looms were also a hi-e of industry, and proved in a very convincing manner the great benefits to be derived from a .technical college* education.
