"A FOG OF UNCERTAINTY.” By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Dec; 14. The Berlih correspondent of The Times says that a fog of uncertainty continues to .envelop. the political situation in Germany, and there is no immediate sign of it. lifting. Herr Marx, the Chancellor, had informed the leaders of the old Coalition (People’s Party, Centre and Democrats) that he interprets the result of the elections as confirming the policy hitherto pursued, and that consequently he has no intention of participating in the bourgeoise bloc that includes the Nationalists. The People’s Party favour the. inclusion of the Nationalists, but the Democrats are opposed to this attitude. The position of the Centre is uncertain. Berlin, Dec. 14. The German Ambassadors to London, Paris and Rome, have been summoned to Berlin to report the views of Britain, France and Italy in regard to the construction of the new German Cabinet.
