LONDON WOOL SALE9U PRiCES HARDENING. By Telegraph—Preaa Ann. —Copyright. Received Dec. 14, 5.5 p.m. < . London, Dec. 13. The wool sales closed quietly, many buyers, especially those from the Continent, having left owing to the fog postponements. Merinos steadily hardened till the last few days, when faulties and inferiors declined about 5 per cent, from the opening rates, thus closing ac 'about par with October. Good wools and all scoureds were generally 5 per cent, above the October rates. All grades (If -crosabrods met fully sustained competition with hardening prices. Fine grades, which have been in very limited supply, closed 10 per cent, above the October rate. Medium and lower grades showed an advance «»f -0 to 25 per cent., and alipes and scoureds were generally from 10 to.- 15 per vent, higher
