Hott, Wellington, amongst a number of others, supported un extension of rotary by the establishment of clubs in the principal town* of the Commonwealth and New Zealand. All the coal miners in the State were idle yesterday for the -purpoat of holding aggregate meetings tv conaWer a direction from the central cowocil of the Mineiw' Federation that work should be reusnwd at all the idle collieries to permit the coal industry special tribunal proceed with the hearing of the claims of the union in terms of the direction of the chairman of the tribunal. * Information received from various centres shows that the organisation is very divided upon questions of accepting the conditions laid down by the chairman. Until complete returns from all the meetings are received it canwht be said what action will be taken.
