BANK TELLER ON TRIAL. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Melbourne, Sept. 16. The trial is proceeding of Chittock, a bank teller, on a charge of stealing £535. the property of the Commercial Bank of Australia. Chittock, who is still suffering from wounds, attended the court on crutches. The evidence was similar to that cabled at the time of the robbery. a / pc-lice suggested that Chittock inflicted one of the wounds upon himself and then inadvertently shot himself in the foot.
