Residents nf the city, which is strictly prohibitionist, were amazed at the arrest in the main street of a drunken person in possession of S bottle of brandy, who proved to be Judge KaRV. president of the Appeal Court. It was at first thought that he was ill and had procured the brandy for medicinal use. but. the Public Prosecutor intervened and defendant was fined 2500 marks. The public are indignant at the exposure of the prohibition administra* tion.
