ANOTHER TRAGEDY.

STATEMENT BY VICTIM. DENIffS STATEMENTS BY ROBLIN. By Telegraph.—Press Awn—Copyright. Received Sept. 19, 7.10 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 19. The victim of the Bondi shooiing affray, Alma. Fennell, is 24 years of age, and married, but is separated from her husband. She states that Roblin visited her and her sisters as a friend, but statements made by him in a letter he left stating that they were lovers and that she turned him down for someone else because he was poor, were without foundation.

Roblin, who was wrongly described a.< an Indian, was a European, and an ex-captain of the Indian Army, and he came to Australia some years ago, since when he apparently had no fixed occupation. The tragedy appeared to be the outcome of jealousy, coupled with financial worries.
