CHEAPER CABLES.
NEW PACIFIC RATES. By Telegraph.—Press AssoelatlonWellington, Last Night. The Postmaster-General (Hon. J. G. Coates) stated in the House to-day that the cable rates on the Pacific route would be reduced as from December 1, when the rates would be as follow: Government Is 2d, ordinary 2s 3d, delayed Is lsd.
