GOVERNOR-GENERAL LEAVES.

ENTHUSIASTIC SEND OFF. CROWD AT THE STATION. Their Excellencies the Governor-General (Viscount Jellicoe) and Lady Jellicoe were given an enthusiastic send off >as they left New Plymouth by,the mail train yesterday morning, for Wellington. There was a large gathering on the platform to wave a final farewell to their Excellencies who were accorded rousing cheers as the train slowly drew out. As it was such a pleasant morning their Excellencies and suite walked from their hotel to the station, where they spent a few minutes, before proceeding to their carriage, conversing with friends met during their visit to New Plymouth. They were accompanied by the Hon. Lucy Jellicoe and suite.
