FATALITY AT AWAKINO.
YOUNG MAN DROWNED. A drowning accident occurred at Awakino j’esterday morning. While fording the Awakino River Duncan Hepburn, aged 19, lost his li’fe, and the body has not been recovered. Constable Blaikie, who reported the occurrence to the New Plymouth police, stated that dragging operations would be continued to-day.
