TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committee of the Taranaki Boxing Association was held last night. Present: Messrs. W- N. Stephenson (chairman). J. Vale. W. Richards, J. Horlor, F. Bremnhel, V. Simpson, J. Garcia, R. Barlow, A. L. Hunter, and E. G. Carr (secretary). It was reported that a fifteen-round professional contest had been arranged between Lin Robinson (Gisborne) and Paul Demsky (Wellingtonl. Mr- Alan Maxwell was appointed referee. Four special amateur bouts were arranged of six two-minute rounds as follows: C. Furze v, A. Duggan; Anderson v. Higgins; Harlen v. Fletcher; Goodwin v. Brosnan. It was resolved to fix the prices at 10s reserved ringside, 7 s 6d and 5s plus tax, ladies and children half-price. Loveridge, the light-weight champion of New Zealand, who is to box Troweri- during the following month, will be the guest of the association and will be introduced to the audience
