A report from Belgium shows that out of 100.000 houses destroyed by the war 90,000 have been rebuilt. These include 1150 pu/blic buildings out of 1170 destroyed and the whole of the 350 Schools which were ruined. Over 34.000 acres of devasted land have been restored to normal, hence the work of land restoration may be regarded as practically finished.
