There was a strong general demand and prices were buoyant and in the sellers’ favour. The level of values was fully equal to the Brisbane opening sales a fortnight ago and quite 10 per cent, above the closing rates at Sydney’s June sales. Yorkshire, French and Japanese buyers were especially active. Greasy Merino sold to 37Jd and scoured to Old.
