NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM, TARANAKI MATCH ARRANGED. FIXED FOR DECEMBER 15 The touring New South Wales team of tennis players will meet a Taranaki team at New Plymouth on Saturday, December 15. In forwarding details of the itinerary to the Taranaki Lawn Tennis Association, the Dominion Association writes: “The tegm is to leave Auckland for Marton on Wednesday, December 12 Lv the evening express. The team leaves Marton on Thursday for New Plymouth, playing a match against a Taranaki team on Saturday, December 15. They leave New Plymouth for Wanganui on Monday, December 17, playing at Wanganui on Tuesday, December 18, and leaving Wanganui for Christchurch on Wednesday, December 19. The-visitoM play a match against a New Zealand team on December 26 and 27, taking part' also in the New Zealand championships. They leave Christchurch for Duneam on January 3, play Otago on Saturday, January 5, and leave Dunedin on Monday, January 7 for Wellington. They play the Wellington Association on January *lO and leave for Sydney on Jan* uary 11. “Regarding the visit to New Plymouth', the team will arrive at Marton on Thure* day, December 13, and it is proposed tdi connect with the train for New Plymouth that day, practice in New Plymouth on the Friday, play the match on Saturday* go up the mountain on the Sunday, and leave for Wanganui on Monday morning. It would be advisable to pencil hotel accommodation for the seven members rtf the team for their stay in New Plymouth.
