IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.

POWERS OF MR. MASSEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Four Labor members, Messrs. H. E. Holland, P. Fraser, A. L. Monteith, and R. McKeen, addressed a full house at the concert chamber of the Town Hall to-night. Mr. Holland said New Zea’ land ought to be represented at the Imperial Conference, but Mr. Massey, or whoever went, should go as a delegate and not as a dictator. If Mr. Massey insisted on a free hand Parliament should be true to the people and say: you take your instructions, we 'will not let you go.” The other speak'ers said there was much for Parliament to do, whether Mr. Massey went or not.
