ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SINGLE MAN’S DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association Dunedin, Last Night. Albany Otto, aged 32, a single man, shot himself fatally at hie parents’ residence at Musselburgh this evening. He was a returned soldier and had a good war record. He had been seriously wounded and had not been in good health lately. A SEAMAN KILLED. Wellington. Last Night. ® This evening George Emerson, an able seaman, was getting on board his vessel by means of a rope ladder when he slipped off the ladder —and, it is believed, he struck his head on one leg of the wooden fenders—and fell into the water. Two mates jumped in and rescued him, but when medical assistance arrived the man was dead.
