TO AUSTRALASIAN MEN. • By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 13. Despite bitterly cold weather 2000 people witnessed the a memorial to 97 Australians and. one New Zealander buried at Harefield. The vicar of Harefield, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Harrington Lees, conducted the dedication service, after which Sir James Connolly (Agent-General for West Australia), assisted by Sir Henry Newbold, unveiled the monument. At Lord Newgate’s express wish Sir James Connolly read Lord Newdegate’s cable: “Lady Newdegate and I are with you in spirit. Among the wreaths was one from General Neville Smythe, who command- | ed the Second Division, A.I.F.
