POPULATING THE DOMINIONS. By Telegraph.—Prexs Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 28, 10.15 p.m. London, Oct. 27. Mr. L. C. Amery, chairman of the Overseas Settlement Committee, conferred with the Dominion emigration representatives, with a view to obtaining definite proposals on which the Government can baae a Bill for submission to the next session authorising »emigration in accordance with the 2,000,000 scheme adopted by the Imperial Conference. Australia’s proportion is estimated at 200,000.
