REBEL LEADER’S RAID. RIOT IN CALCUTTA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Delhi. Oct. 2(5. A leader of Mannarghat rebels recently appeared on the scene. Three simultaneous raids were made on two villages and 30 Hindus were captured. A street riot occurred in Calcutta following on the arrest of Khalifat preachers. A. sub-inspector and two constables and some passers-by were wounded.
