Negotiations for the establishment of an Imperial bureau of mycology, financially supported by all parts of the Empire, have been successfully concluded. Dr. Butler, a former Imperial mycologist, and agricultural adviser to the Government of India, has been appointed the first director. Mill girl as magistrate.
