UNAVAILING SEARCH. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Carterton, June 11. The search continued unavailingly throughout last night for Mary Lindsay, matron of the Greyiown Hospital. Search parties are now organised in Greytown, Carterton and Masterton, and the whole countryside is being thoroughly scoured. The theory is expressed that she was picked up by a passing motor car in Greytown on Thursday night and conveyed north. The police request that any motorist bo doing to communicate with, the missing lady’s daughter, Miss Lindsay, of Palmerston North. Mrs. Lindsay is described as 28 years of age, with light auburn hair, fairly tall, and slight. She was wearing a night-dress, blue dressing-gown, and light slippers. She qualified at the Invercargill hospital in 1917, and matron in September, 1920.
