Sydney, March' L\ A sensational tragedy has occurred at Inverell. A married woman named Farrington was living with a man named Dean, when her husband arrived and tried to induce his wife to return to him. Dean intervened and drew a revolver. A running fight with revolvers along the street followed between Farrington and Dean. Farrington was shot dead. Dean severely wounded in the mouth and a bystander shot in the leg. Others had narrow escapes from flying bullets.
