Received August 29, 5.5 p.m. London, August 28. *n an exhaustive report on their recent visit to Russia, the British Labor delegation emphatically contradicts statements, as to the prevalence of crime, disorder, death from starvation, etc. The report declares that although social equalisation is far from complete glaring inequalities of fortune no longer exist. It praises the systematic effort* to improve the economic and social conditions of the people, hut questions frhether too heavy a price is not being pM lor' the advantages, pointing out that personal freedom and freedom of speech and the Press is totally abolished. The delegation believes the -attacks •gainst Russia in the west will result in the spread of Bolshevism in Persia tadtke East.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
