The Evening Standard states Mr. J. H. Thomas (General Secretary of the National Union of Railwaymen) presided over a -joint committee of the Labor Party, the Trades Union Congress, the Parliamentary Committee, and the Co-operative Party, which accepted the draft constitution of the proposed labor and co-operative alliance. The joint committee is now recommending the affiliated organisations to accept it. ~-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
