Several suspicioue cases of influenza have been reported from the country. 'lhe Director-General of Health states that the position is very satisfactory Melbourne, Feb 1 One hundred and sixty-seven cases of influenza have been reported.
Perth, Feb. 1 Westralia has closed the border, and is quarantining all passengers from South Australia. Adelaide, Fob. !„ The health authorities refuse to declare that the cases discovered are pneumonic influenza.
