MILITARY GIVEN FULL POWERS, , Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. Received March 13, 11.5 p.m. London, March 12. Raply'ng to Lord Salisbury's censure of the Clovevnmcnt'd Irish policy, Lord Cut-zon stated in the House of Lords that the military had been given full powers in the disturbed ureas to suppress disorder and enforce law. Already good results hud accrued. The situation was not yet normal. The military would remain while required.
