Itaffirms that Eden is situated on the east coast of the Arabian Gulf > a 'hundred miles from the sources of the Tigris and Euphrates. One day there appeared the Nintu goddess who claimed that she had created mortals from clay. She appointed Noah chief gardener of Paradise, stipulating that nobody should taste t'he cassia tree. Noah did eat the fruit.
