THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES, A very good audience witnessed the new programme of picture gems at the Theatre Royal last evening, when some splendid films were screened. The Ambrosia star feature drama was the attraction for the evening, entitled "A Queen's Love," a thrilling story in two acts. Some very emotional acting is displayed by the artists selected for the cast, and the interest of the audience was retained in the most absorbing manner. The scenics, "In the Syrian Alps" and "In French Guinea," were most instructive, and some beautiful country pictures were enjoyed. The booklet of news in the Topical Budget brought along many entertaining happenings from the world, and the comedy films, "The Henpecked Burglar" and "His Hoodoo" liotli made merriment rampant through the house. The theatre is otherwise engaged for to-night, but this good collection will be shown again on Saturday afternoon and evening for the last screenings. Popular prices, Is and 6d.
