A meeting of the Council of the above was held at l'almerston oil Tuesday night Present: Messrs.. Newton King (President, in Hie «liair), ,i. Liggins, F. j H. Leonard, W. I. Lovelock. Mr. W. M. Singleton waited 011 the Council and discussed the amplification of the rules in connection with the semiofficial testing of pure-bred eows for the coming season. After discussing tlie matter with Mr. Singleton, these were approved. It was resolved to adopt the American rule, "Colors that have entry in tinHerd Rrook" as follows —(1) Solid black. (2V solid white. (3) black switch, (It solid block with white on belly only. (■">) black on legs beginning at feet and extending to kuues with white interspersed, (7) grey or mixed black and white generally prevailing, (8) patches "f other color than black or while, red. brown, dun, etc., (!)) red and white.
