Her machinery was disabled during her voyage to China, and she was docked at Hongkong, whence she sails to England, where she will probably be scrapped. A BURGLAR SHOT. Melbourne, July 4. While a constable was arresting a man at Barham, John Patrick Casey interfered 1 with the constable, who followed Casey into the hotel. Casey threw a jug and rushed the constable with a knife. The constable, after a warning, shot Casey fatally in self-defence.
