At a meeting of the Michigan National Editorial Association the speakers hoped tlie day was approaching when the United States would own all Canada. Judge Sutherland, a Toronto representative, protested, hoping the delegates who were about to tour Ontario would escape hostile demonstrations, because tlieir remarks were unprecedented.
