ALLEGED THEFT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. Joseph Ehram was charged at the Police Court with the theft of goods valued at £2O. He was remanded for a week-.. Speaking on the application for bail, Detective Marsack said there were other charges against the prisoner, who had also escaped from custody and was at liberty for a short time. He asked for substantial securities. The magistrate allowed bail in two sureties of £IOO each, the accused to report daily to the police. SLY GROG SELLERS FIXED. Gore, Last Night.
