News from Livingstone states that the Okavango tribe in Ngamimland massacred the German patrol of the District Commissioner, Von Frankenburg. The patrol included two white sergeants, fourteen black police, and twenty carriers. The Commissioner himself escaped on the only mule left. Ngamiland is British, but the frontier is not clearly defined.
