RELIGIOUS DISTURBANCES
SEVERAL BATON CHARGES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 17, 10.10 p.m. London, July 17. There were serious Teligious, disturbances in the working class quarter between Shankhill Falls road and Belfast, crowds mutually stoning each other. There were numerous baton charges. Some private houses were wrecked and furniture burnt in the street. Both ends of the disturbed area were cordoned, and several rioters arrested.
