DISTRICT NEWS.
WAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the hall was held on Saturday night. Mr. T. Julian presided. In presenting their report, the committee thanked the stall-holders and all others who had helped to work up the bazaar, and carried it out so successfully. The net •result of the affair was a credit of £OO 8s lid. After paying off the overdraft of £7B 17s 5d at the bank it left £ll 11a Cd, and with £5 10s 10 in hand from last year, made a credit balance fo hand over to the new committee of £l7 2s 4d. There is an account of £1 10s to be paid for piano repairs and tuning. The old trustees will continue in office. The following committee was elected:— Messrs. J. Burgess, H. Corbett, W. Revell, W; Thornell, H. Pelham, S. Wells, Cr. P. Jdnes, J. Millar, and A. Clothier. The ladies and others were heartily thanked for their work, special mention being made of the services of Messrs. Revell and Pelham. Mr. W.i Revell was appointed chairman of the new committee, and Mr. H. Pelham secretary. A prize given to the young lady who collected the largest number of raffle tickets was won by Miss B. Aylward, ' who collected 121 tickets, the next nearest being Miss J. Aylward, who gathered 116 tickets. A meeting of the new committee will be held on Saturday night.
