Tin tiie Supreme Court two reserved judgments of Mr. Justice Sim were delivered to-day. In one ease the Waimate county's heavy traffic (traction engine) bylaw was upheld. One point was that, the weight of the vehicle is part of the "load on wheels" In the other can- a claim by the Farmers' Association against I). Lindsay, for .t'SOO, under a guarantee in the interest of his son, a farmer, butcher and storekeeper, was disallowed, on the ground that defendant was not informed as he ought to have been by plniiitiHs of the son's financial position, which was such that, as the judge said, the guarantee, instead of being a contingent, was an absolute liability.
