THE SYDNEY WHARF STRIKE.
POSITION UALTERED. Reccivld 24th, I.C a.m. Sydney, March 24. The wharf laborers' strike conference was continued to-day. After the adjournment, the press representatives were informed that the position was not any more critical than yesterday. A definite statement as to whether there will be peace or an indefinite continuation of the struggle will probably be given to-morrow afternoon. There is reason to believe, however, that the position is somewhat improved. The Deep Sea Stevedores' Association has issued summonses against fourteen members of tho Wharf Laborers' Union for breaches of award.
