" BAYLY AIEAIORIAL. With regard to Bayly memorial fund, a long discussion ensued. Air. Powdrell proposed that the Union open subscription lists with every club, and that the memorial be erected in New Plymouth Recreation Sports Ground, the actual form of the memorial to be submitted to a later meeting of delegates. GENERAL. It was resolved unanimously that the western district be entitled to' representation on the Management Committee. It was resolved that the officers of the Union, hon. secretary and lion, treasurer, and a Jfanagement Committee ; shall consist of the president, hon. secre- i tary, three from the northern, three from the southern, and one from the western division.

Mr. Smith was present to place the views of the Waverley Club before the Union, and he emphasised that the Wanganui Union would offer no objection to the proposal. The feeling was unanimous that the request should be granted, and the matter will be dealt with at a special meeting of delegates as soon as possible.
