LADIES ELECTED. NEWSPAPER. VIEW OF THE RESULTS. Received Nov. 4, 10.30 p.m. London, November 4. Mrs. Doctor Garrett Anderson and five Other ladies were elected municipal councillors. The Chronicle says the primary cause of tne Unionist victories at the Municipal elections was the fear of Socialists, and, secondarily, the Anglicans and Roman Catholics assailing the Liberals.
