The anniversary services in connection with the Wesleyan Sunday school were held last Sunday, Mr Asher 2 of New I'lymouth, conducting the services at u a.m. ; 2 p.m., and 7.30 p.lll. The weather was fine, and thcie were good attendances at each service, particularly in the cvennig, when the eluirch was crowded. Mr Asher gave interesting- addresses, m tile morning on "The Beauty and Goodness of God,'' and in the evening " fho Toaeliersliip of Christ." The address in the afternoon was entitled "Beware of Dogs," and was chiefly asjdrossed to the children. A special feature of the services was the blight singing of (ho children, who had been taught special hymns and anthems by Misses Eustace and Hughson. Miss Hughson also presided at the organ. The services will be continued 011 Wednesday, when there will bo a picnic in Rayner's paddock in the afternoon and an entertainment in the chruch in the eveiS-
