DISCOVERY OF GOLD IN NELSON PROVINCE.
* —,. — IN PAYABLE QUANTITIES. [PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, April 3. The Murchison correspondent of the Colonist wires that coarse gold, in payable quantities, has been discovered in the Eappakannock, a tributary of the Marina, which is one of the chief tributaries of the Boiler. The creek is I being rushed, and several claims have been pegged off. The locality is distant 98 miles from JSTelson. It is not likely that the creek will provide for a considerable number of men, but the land contiguous is amongst the richest agricultural land in the province.
