In regard to the Massey Handicap to be run at the Royal race meeting during the visit of the Prince of Wales, and in which sixty-six horses are engaged, the Auckland Racing Club has decided to divide the race and run it in two sections with a stake of £500 ; in each

section.

Oak Abbey was passed in at auction to-day, but was subsequently sold to Mr D. Green, of Hauraki Plains, for 500gns.
