Mack Sennett's first special, which is said to have cost £60,000, and is claimed to rival "Tho Whip," "Sporting Life," and other big Drury Lane productions, is to have its advent under the supervision of International Attractions at the Empire Theatre on Monday and Tuesday next with a mati-ne-i on Tuesday. '"Mickey" has been designated an "eight-course banquet jof entertainment." Every element [that goes,into composition of big" comedy drama is there. Comedy, romance, sensational races, fights, chases, water stunts, ballroom scenes, and a wonderful race ivith hairbreadth escapes between an express train and a motor ear are only some of the concomitants. The human story, which is rich in incident, is so delightfully told that the very familiarity bf every seen?} and episode makes the picture doubly fascinating. Mabel Normand reveals her versatility j as its irrepressible heroine. An augmented orchestra will render appropriate selections "and the 12th Regiment Band will also bo in attendance.
