POULET DELAYED BY FOG.

RETURN TO RANGOON.

Captaitt Ros.s Smith is reported to nave passed MouTmein at 8.30 to-day. Shortly after 3 o'clock in the afternoon Poulet returned to Rangoon. He had nearly reached tho Siamese frontier when' he encountered a heavy fog, and, fearful of losing his way, he decided to turn back. He will leave on Wednesday.

Poulet did not see Ross Smith after leaving this morning. - The latter was well ahead, and probably escaped the fog.
