WOMEN'S RIGHTS BILL.

The managers appointed by tho two' Houses met again in conference this! afternoon over differences respecting the Women's Parliamentary Rights Bill, but: after a further discussion had to adjourn again till to-morrow at 5.30 p.m. Although at present it appears as if something of a deadlock existed, in all probability tho House will compromise with the Council concerning the privilege claimed by the Upper House to originate any legislative proposal conferring the right of. seats in that 'Chamber on women. The Council's amendment to the Bill is therefore likely to be accepted, on the iinderstaiidiiig that a measure will be introduced in the Upper House extending to women the privilege of being nominated or elected to that branch of the Legislature. Such a course would remove tho menace to the passage of the Bill created by the deadlock between the two Houses, and would achieve the will of the popular assembly that women be eligible for seats in both Chambers,
