Palmer; Cock Cup, Mr J.R.gtrachan; Ladies' i Championship, Miss G; Dimant. Seve-1 ral matches were played in aid of the; "Red Cross Fund, and that society benefited to the extent of £4 19s. Financial.—Through the generous response by the members to an appeal for donations towards the club's funds, which brought in an amount of £72 19s i \ 6d, the financial position of the club ! must now be considered as highly satis-. : factory. The only liability the club has i is £25 due to the Golf Ground Company.; The sincere thanks of the members are due to those who so generously came forward to tlie club's assistance. , With, the termination of the war, the I j return of many of our members from active _ service, and conditions once more getting back to normal, your committee' have every reason to (i assure the mem-! bers of a very prosperous season,and a i ■good future for the cMb. Already the! names of over 25 new members'have been handed in, and this number should be increased as the season progresses.
