Dimant, and V. Leggatt.; Miss Ethel Ledger, who was the ladies' secretary and former champion, has taken.a very active interest, jin the club for a number of years. The pyriipathy of the committee is extended to the relatives of Miss Gladys Adams j i who died during the year. Miss Adams, (was a former lady captain of the club. I • The season's play.—The course- was kept in good playing order during the . past year, including the summer months, j and several minor improvements were' effected. It was decided to play the club championships, and after keen com-1 petition the results were as follows:I—j1—j Senior Championship, Mr C. P. Palmer; Cock Cup, Mr J.R.gtrachan; Ladies' i Championship, Miss G; Dimant. Seve-1 ral matches were played in aid of the; "Red Cross Fund, and that society benefited to the extent of £4 19s. Financial.—Through the generous response by the members to an appeal for donations towards the club's funds, which brought in an amount of £72 19s i \ 6d, the financial position of the club ! must now be considered as highly satis-. : factory. The only liability the club has i is £25 due to the Golf Ground Company.; The sincere thanks of the members are due to those who so generously came forward to tlie club's assistance. , With, the termination of the war, the I j return of many of our members from active _ service, and conditions once more getting back to normal, your committee' have every reason to (i assure the mem-! bers of a very prosperous season,and a i ■good future for the cMb. Already the! names of over 25 new members'have been handed in, and this number should be increased as the season progresses. In conclusion the retiring committee ; recommend that the club matches be re- ' sumed. and a match fixture card fcli'awh up; also that the services of a professional be arranged for as soon as posI sible. ! j The following new members were i elected: Misses P.
