Mr Harold Beauchamp has been reelected chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand.—Press Association.

Mr R. McArtney/of Bridge street, leavesrfor Rotorua to-day on a health r«^ cruiting visit.

Mr C. P. Hugonin, a popular ex-resi-sident of Tapawera, has purchased a farm property in the King Country, and will shortly become a resident of Te Kuiti.

Mrs J. Chapman, Sherry, has been advised that her son, Stephen James Chapman, is returning with the Willochra, due to arrive about April 15th.

Mr R. B. Hall has received word that his son, Gunner C. C. Hall who left with the 10th Reinforcements is returning to New Zealand by H.M.T. Raranga, due in Wellington about the* 23rd mst.

Mr J. Chapman, Seymour Avenue, received word that his son, Corporal • «?en At eha Pman> is due to arrive in Wellington about April 23rd by the Raranga, after three and a half years on active service.

Mrs L. Hockey, 6f Nile street, has received advice that her husband, Private L, Hockey, will reach home on the 23rd !??£ Private Hockey left with the Fortieth Reinforcements, and it will be remembered was warmly commended for the splendid service he rendered during the. epidemic on the troopship
