THE PRICE OF WHEAT.

NEW REGULATIONS GAZETTED,

Wellington, April 7. An extraordinary "Gazette" has been issued amending the Wheat Trade Reg*, lations, 1919, clause 16 whereof is revoked and the following clause substituted:--.. ' ; : "Government brokers will buy good milling wheat,on account of the Government at the following prices: (a) Good milling wheat grown in the South Island elsewhere than in the provincial districts of Nelson and Maryborough (1) sold for delivery free on board at nearest port (a) in January, February, March, or April, 11919, 6s 6d per bushel; (b) in May, 1919, 6s 6Jd; (c) in June, 1919, 6s 7d; (d) in July, 1919, 6s 7£d; (c) in or after August, 1919,; 6s Bd. (2) Sold for delivery otherwise than f.o.b. at nearest port 'a price^^ equivalent as regards sell**toprices : "4tiY: Good milling grown 4n the North, Island or in fti^ pTovineial districts of Nelson and Marlborough (s)sold for delivery f ;<>.*. at nearest railway; fetation, same price as that fixed'by sub-clause (a) for good I milling wheat, grown in the South Island | (elsewhere than Nelson: and Marlborough) arid sold, for delivery f .o.b. at the pearest port, with the addition of 4d per bushel; (2) sold for delivery otherwise than f.o.r. at nearest railway station at price equivalent as regards seller to price aforesaid
