WAKEFIELD

Norma Talmadge appears as the heroine, a famous pianist, who, to secure the production of an opera composed by her husband, Gferard Mordaunt, makes a bargain with Baron de Duisitor, an impressario. The opera is produced and is a wonderful success. The baron gives a dinner on the last night of the term of his compact with Panthea. Panthea demands Ehat ne keep his pledge and drink poison. Gerard hears them quarrelling, . and discovers his wife's infidelity. He deounces the pair, and rush-as from tlie house. But the family doctor explains j the nature of the sacrifice and reunites them.
